What can anyone say about Rome? Full of captivating history, it is a feast for the senses. Much of it is pleasant, some of it is not. The photographs in this post show the beauty and grandeur of Rome, but don't accurately reflect the intense humidity, heat, noise, chaos, less than appealing odors, and the stress of maneuvering two families with three little boys aged 6-8 through it all safely for three days.
But alas! It is Rome. And I am fortunate to have been able to go.

Nice photos!
I visited Rome many, many, years ago.
I loved the history, but hated the city. : )
I'm glad you gave us the beautiful pictures!
I do love Rome but far more in the spring than in the summer that's for sure. You took some great photos with your big girl camera. Can't wait to see more!
Wow, you saw "The School of Athens"!!! (All that food is pretty spectacular, too.)
Hehehe, the statue's fig leaf still had the outline of a penis.......
The photos looked wonderful but found your description of the weather interesting. Didn't think it would be like that there :o/
I hope the memories you make for the kids and for yourself are good ones. Have a great time!
You did an outstanding job with your pictures Jason!
