Happy Birthday... Dr. Seuss. My fourth graded is SUPEr excited today they have no class work or homework. They are having a reading day and birthday party for Dr. Seuss..
I love his stories yes I do! I love his writing How 'bout you? He wrote about critters red and blue And even some guys He made up, too. He wrote about fishes and cats in hats And Whos and Whats and Grinches (in spats?) My very first Seuss was on "Mulberry Street"; I loved him a lot and I still think he's neat!
I have such happy memories of reading his books with our children, and enjoying them as a child myself. Thanks for reminding me to be grateful for him! I love your blog's new look.
Someone posted a quote of his on FB yesterday and it was so cool. Wish I could remember what it was or even who posted it. May have been you for all I can remember!
J, your blog looks soooooooooo cool! I totally love it and your head sticking out of the TV is perfect!
I love Dr. Seuss! And it was a special treat seeing all the Cat in the Hat hats on all the kids on the bus when Princess Nagger came home from school on Tuesday. :)

I love Dr. Seuss as well. Who doesn't?
I am in love with the new book Skippy Jonjones. Forget who the author is, but it always reminds me of something Dr. Seuss would pen.

Tera is brilliant.
Love me some Seuss!!
I should write a poem with clever and bizarre, self-invented words here, but I'm not really that clever, and he wasn't really a doctor. So RIP.
Read Across America all day long baby! I love this day too because we wear pajamas and I am soooo comfortable! It was a Seuss-y day in K!

This week at school Dr. Seuss is being celebrated...it's wonderful. BTW...loving the new blog look!!!
I was never a big Dr. Seuss fan, but I did read his books to my kids and grandkids. I love your new look, Jason!
Happy Birthday to Dr Seuss, who brought me and my children so much joy through his clever, silly words.

Your blog layout is FANTASTIC!!! I couldn't love it more if it was wearing eyeliner.
Oh, um, and Dr. Seuss, too.
Dr. Seuss ROCKS! But, strangely, like an earlier commenter, I saw "Theodor" also as "The odor"... isn't that strange??
And I REALLY LIKE the new blog layout! Muy bueno!
I feel the same way. I heart the man!

Blessing indeed! The world would be a poorer place without his work.
