Will the mouse play?

No, the mouse will work. The one time that I have the chance enjoy the whole house all to myself for a whole week (Giancarlo, Diego, Pietro, and Elsa are in Mazatlan), and I am working, even though it is technically spring vacation.
.
Here's what I'm doing this week aside from being a co-facilitator in a training each day:
.
- finish my taxes
- pay bills
- grocery shop
- have a piano lesson
- practice the piano daily
- read The Other Boleyn Girl for my bookclub
- get up each morning
- be taxi dad
.
True, none of that is all that unpleasant. Most of it I enjoy, actually.

But here's what I'd RATHER be doing with the house all to myself for a week
.
- listen to music really loud
- walk around in nothing but my boxers all day
- watch season one of The Office that J-Lo lent to me
- finally watch Top Model (I've never watched it, ever, but it is recorded. Will I get to it? Ever? Doubtful.)
- drink wine all day (just once)
- sit and listen to the silence
- lay by the pool
- read The Other Boleyn Girl all day
- read the other books on my shelf that are waiting to be read, even those Dean Koontz ones
- bank up my blog posts ten days in advance
- just surf the net and let it take me where it takes me
- go to the movies all by myself in the middle of the day
- get up in the morning WHEN IT IS LIGHT OUTSIDE

What would you do if you had the whole house to yourself for a whole week?

Vacation? You can't handle vacation!
Sit in the hot tub and read, read, read. Shop...by myself, and eat just the stuff I like.
Stay in my pajamas, drink hot coffee and catch up on the movies I want to see...
Hello I just entered before I have to leave to the airport, it's been very nice to meet you, if you want here is the site I told you about where I type some stuff and make good money (I work from home): here it is
My Ideal Routine
• Sleep in
• Take a way-too-long shower
• Eat cereal for breakfast
• Do the whole computer routine (email, blogs, etc.)
• Slowly do my hair
• Meticulously do my makeup
• Go shopping
• Eat a big late lunch
• Organize a few things
• Chit chat away with somebody
• Eat a few snacks with a little TV
• Read before going to bed
First thing first. TOP MODEL should be first on the list. You will love it, and it will make us that much more in common with one another.
Maybe I am lucky, I get quite a bit of alone time so i get to spread all my things out. Your brother rocks!!
First of all I wouldn't be doing my taxes because they are already done, and we got our return back already...:) Aren't you jealous.
One day, stay in bed all day. The other days...drink coffee slowly, take a nap every day, go out to lunch, sit in silence, read lots at once, take my time on the computer. Ahhhh....
I would-
-Play a game or two
-Watch a few movies
-talk with all my friends from utah
-Sleep
-Possibly find a book to read
-write poetry
-relax with the silence
I think you should bring your laptop out to the pool with you and sit by the pool in your boxers and work while you sip (SIP ONLY! You have work to do) wine. You'll need bit of shade though, so you can see the screen. That's the only frustrating part - I know, I've tried this.
All work and no play makes Jason a dull boy!
